Under the Same Star is the fourth Book written by author John Green, published in January 2012. The story is told by a sixteen-year-old cancer patient, named Hazel, who is forced by her parents to attend to a support group, where he subsequently meets and falls in love with augustus Waters, seventeen-year-old, former amputee basketball player.
In the book, it is said that the title is inspired by a famous phrase of Julius Caesar (Shakespeare). The noble Cassius tells Brutus, 'Guilt, dear Brutus, is not in our stars,  But if in ourselves, that we are subordinates.

Emotive, ironic and sharp. A novel tinged with humor and tragedy that speaks of our ability to dream even in the most difficult circumstances. Hazel and Gus would like to have more ordinary lives. Some would say that they were not born with stars, that their world is unfair. Hazel and Gus are just teenagers, but if something has taught them the cancer that both suffer is that there is no time for regrets, because, like it or not, there is only today and now. And so, with the intention of making Hazel's greatest wish-to know her favorite writer-come true, they will cross the Atlantic together to experience a time-trial adventure, as cathartic as it is heartbreaking.
